This picture speaks volumes of Gabe's personality....
"What? I'm not doing anything." He kept sneeking the little candy letters off the cake. I didn't think anyone would actually like those nasty things, but apparently he did.
He was totally fasinated with the candles. After a couple of trys, he even blew them out on his own.
"What? You want a piece of me?"
I made his favorite meal, enchiladas.
During the birthday celebration, we had a huge windstorm. I took some pictures of what it did just outside our appartment. We didn't even get hit the hardest. Our friends had lots of things break and blow away including trampolines, sheds, doors broken off, etc. It was pretty awesome. However, word of advice...don't wear flowing skirts to church on days of a windstorm. Very embarassing!
I bought a new bedset at the linen store here on base. I got the entire bed set, pillows included for $69. I was very proud of myself. It's really wrinkled, but that can be fixed. I was just too lazy to iron it at the time.

i almost bought one just like it at walmart!! :] they have them there too, with green-not blue, and red too i think. very cute!! :] i need a change in my bedroom. i'm working on my husband letting me do it! :] he's probably deploying too btw. sad day for me. :[

I think Kaitlin will be very jealous of your new bedding. It's really pretty and it's her favorite combination of colors.
It looks like he definitely enjoyed his birthday dinner and cake! I don't like the wind...we've had a lot of nice sunny days here, but the wind has ruined them...of course our wind hasn't been close to that strong. I like your bedding...and what a deal! -Jen

Glad you didn't get blown away out there! We've had our fair share of windstorms out here and I'm done with them! Hang on to something strong!

Nice, I love the colors. It would work good in my room. We jsut got a bed frame and dresser that would look perfect.
Man I miss you guys. Gabe is 2! Wow Aubrey will be 1 next month. Crazy ness. We also had a bad windstorm/ice strom. It killed the power in half the town for 4 days. But its probably cuz this town sucks. Things are so old here and run down. Roten Lawton
